District 3 Candidate Responses to FOGG Questions – October 1, 2008

FOGG, at the request from some of our members, has sent to every District 3 candidate three questions concerning our interest in preserving the open recreational space known as the Golden Gateway Swim & Tennis & Swim Club.  We have received their answers and want to share them with you.

As a non-profit organization, FOGG cannot and will not endorse a candidate, but we wish our members to have all the information possible to come to their own conclusions on who will best serve our District and the need to provide critical open recreational space for our community. FOGG Open Letter – September 15, 2008

Those of you who attended the District 3 Supervisor Candidate’s Forum on Wednesday, September 10th, were undoubtedly pleasantly surprised at the knowledge and overall good responses by the candidates.  We seem blessed by an abundance of qualified candidates running for office in our District.  The turnout was also great – 100 plus interested citizens attended. FOGG Open Letter – September 4, 2008

Dear Friends & Supporters:


We want to remind you that the Barbary Coast Neighborhood Association (BCNA) is holding a DISTRICT 3 SUPERVISOR’S CANDIDATE FORUM – Wednesday, September 10, at KGO TV, 7:00 – 9:00pm, 700 Front Street.  Eight of the District 3 candidates will be attending.  This Forum is an opportunity to hear what the candidates have to say about the issues concerning our District, and in the case of FOGG we want to hear what their position will be, if elected, on keeping our neighborhood open recreational space intact.
