We are pleased to let you know that through your support FOGG has reached our Kids Camp Scholarship Program goal of $5,000. We thank all of you who contributed.
You have made it possible for kids from low income families to attend Kids Camp. Together with the management of our Community Recreation Center (Golden Gateway Tennis & Swim Club), up to 20 youngsters will share a positive experience among their peers in a safe and structured family-friendly environment. FOGG hopes that additional financial contributions will let us add to the list of youth participants.
Your generosity is deeply appreciated. As many of you are aware, FOGG, with the help of so many others in our community has succeeded in preventing the destruction of our open recreational space. We are in an ongoing fight with ‘Developer #4’ who wants to put 170 luxury condominiums and a 400+ space underground parking garage on the existing club site. With your help, this will never happen. Our belief is that this Scholarship Program will endure for many years to come once we have defeated ‘Developer #4’.
We want to make the Kids Camp Scholarship Program an annual event. For this to occur, FOGG must continue to provide financial support for our land use attorney, who is vital to our success. We still need your donations for this effort.
And, we also are blessed with a growing group of active volunteers who are always there when we need them.
Please send your tax deductible donation by check to PDF/FOGG, mailed to Jim Eggert, Treasurer and CPA, 550 Davis Street #46, San Francisco, CA 94111. In writing your check, please enter on the memo line “tax deductible donation.”
Or you can donate online by clicking on the Donations to FOGG link on this website.
The success we have had with the Kids Camp Scholarship Program can be repeated in the efforts to save our open recreational space, which has always been considered to be an integral part of our planned community and neighborhood for over 40 years.
FOGG is confident that with your help our mission will be accomplished. We couldn’t have gone this far without you. Let us stay the course and keep this wonderful neighborhood facility operating for many years to come.
