We are pleased with the donations that were sent in after our last Open Letter, particularly the number of “first time” donors. Thanks to all of you for responding to assist in our efforts. As we said before “There is still much more to be accomplished.”
We are approaching the time when our Coalition will be testifying before SF Board of Supervisor committees regarding the proposed Term Sheet approved by the Port Commission for the 8 Washington Street luxury condominiums and underground parking garage on the GGT&SC site.
It is our intention that the Term Sheet has a quick demise. FOGG has two available and positive tools in addition to your personal appearance and testimony that should be presented to the Supervisors.
We intend to publish a list of our donors, who come from all parts of the City (and from other areas). Contribution amounts will not be listed, just the donors. Listing our donors will be critical in showing our strength. If you as a donor do not wish to have your name on the “Honor Roll”, please let us know by contacting us at email@example.com. We need to hear from you no later than November 30, 2010.
We can certainly use more names on the “Honor Roll” of donors, and your tax deductible donations received before November 30 will be deeply appreciated.
It is critical to FOGG’s continued efforts. Please send your tax deductible donation by check to PDF/FOGG, mailed to Jim Eggert, Treasurer and CPA, 550 Davis Street #46, San Francisco, CA 94111. In writing your check, please enter on the memo line “tax deductible donation.”
Or you can donate online by clicking at the ‘Donations to FOGG Page link on the website.
We also will be presenting to the Supervisors our signed Petitions that have been ongoing for many months. We have nearly 2,000 signatures and would like to add more. If you have not yet signed the Petition and would like to, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org . We will email you a form with instructions on how to return the signed petition.
FOGG urges that you obtain additional signatures from your family and friends. Again, we ask that all signed Petitions be returned to us no later than November 30, 2010.
FOGG thanks our volunteers and supporters for their continued efforts in ending the year of 2010 on a positive and strong position to continue, if need be, into 2011.
