FOGG Open Letter – March 4, 2012

KIDS CAMP SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM – 2012

FOGG is pleased to announce that we will for the third year sponsor the Summer Kids Camp Scholarship program, to provide scholarships for youngsters from Chinatown and South of Market to attend this one of a kind summer fun program.

With the cooperation of GGT&SC management who will provide one additional space for every two youngsters we can financially support to attend Kids Camp, FOGG hopes to better our efforts of the past two years. This will be up to the continued generosity of our FOGG supporters who have provided the tax deductible funds that gives youngsters the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful summer experience in a safe, family friendly environment.

GGT&SC management and Summer Fun staff, under able director Laura Safran are planning a full 16 week program from June through August, with many exciting physical and educational programs.  FOGG is sure it will be as successful as the previous 15 years of Kids Camp have been.  Averages of 700 hundred youngsters attend each summer. You can read the letters of thanks and support by the youngsters you have helped support on this website.

FOGG is sure you will do your part to give these kids from low income housing this wonderful opportunity.

Please send your tax deductible donation to Friends of Golden Gateway, P.O. Box 2294, San Francisco, CA 94126.  Please make your checks out to PDF/FOGG, and on the memo line write “Scholarship Fund”.

Or you can donate online by clicking on the ‘Donations to FOGG’ link on this website.

Whatever you can provide in tax deductible donations will be greatly appreciated and used wisely.

FOGG is sure our supporters will continue to provide the necessary funds for another successful Scholarship drive, and thank you in advance for that support.
