FOGG Alert – February 8, 2013

FOGG thanks all of you who have signed retired teacher Lorraine Honig’s Petition!

We thank you for your support.  Lorraine is asking the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS) to end their partnership and investment in the 8 Washington Street high-rise luxury condominium project on our waterfront.

We strongly urge those of you who are thinking about signing, yet have not done so, to do it NOW.

It is easy.  Please sign the Petition at this link. Petition

Add your voice to those who have already joined in our efforts to save the Northeast Embarcadero Waterfront from a WALL of high-rise luxury condominiums, and help to preserve our community’s outdoor recreation center (GGT&SC) which has been on this site for over 45 years.

Please send this Petition on.  Tell your neighbors, friends and family members to sign the Petition.  Join with Lorraine to let CalSTRS know that we speak for the 99% who know that high-rise condominiums for only the very wealthy will destroy San Francisco’s waterfront.

For more information about the CalSTRS investment, read this recent SF Bay Guardian article.  High-rise risk | SF Politics

We look forward to hearing your voice.
