FOGG Alert – September 9, 2013

NO WALL ON THE WATERFRONT – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – NOW

The Tuesday, November 5, 2013 San Francisco election is only 8 weeks away.  The voters will decide on the duel height increase ballot measures, Proposition B and Proposition C.

We need your help NOW!

We must convince the SF voters to vote NO on Proposition B and NO on Proposition C on the November 5, 2013 ballot.

Our NO WALL ON THE WATERFRONT COMMITTEE Coalition Partner will be holding a series of campaign workshops starting this coming Saturday, September 14, 2013 at their Headquarters, located at 15 Columbus Avenue, San Francisco, starting at 10am.

WE NEED YOU TO ATTEND!

Learn how you can help save our outdoor community recreational facility and stop the high-rise luxury condominium development that will be built on this site.

All we ask is a couple hours a week of your time.  There is so much to do.

Please confirm your attendance by calling the NO WALL COMMITTEE Headquarters at 415-894-7008.

This is more than important – it is vital to the survival of our recreational facility.

If the SF voters vote YES on these Propositions, our community recreational center will be demolished.

JUST IMAGINE ON JANUARY 1, 2014, EVERYTHING YOU HAVE KNOWN FOR YEARS IS GONE.

NO MORE tennis courts for social games, USTA Leagues, tournaments or lessons.

NO MORE laps swimming, Master’s Program, aqua-fit or lessons.

NO MORE Summer Kids Camps.

NO MORE Tai Chi, Yoga, Palates, Aerobics.

NO MORE weekend barbeques, 1st Friday get-togethers, birthday parties.

We need you now and for the next 8 weeks.  Please call the NO WALL Headquarters and attend the Saturday, September 14th, workshop.

Look forward to seeing you there!
