They Heard Our Message – More to Do…

We had a great rally!

On Thursday, October 10, 2013, over 50 supporters of the NO on Propositions B and C, gathered at Pier 1-1/2 to show their unified support.

We rallied to respond to Mayor Ed Lee’s attending a press conference inside Mr. Simon Snellgrove’s office in support of the 8 Washington project.

We can only assume he was there as Mayor Lee never made a public appearance.  The only public official we identified is Scott Weiner, District 8 Supervisor, and a longtime supporter of Mr. Snellgrove.

With exuberance and solidarity, we let the Mayor and Mr. Snellgrove and his supporters know:

‘STOP THE DECEPTION MAYOR LEE – VOTE NO ON B and C!’

We gathered to let those in power…politicians…developers…and those who support this project to make money that we will continue our united battle against them.  We know that they are doing everything they can to keep our message from being heard.

Rally photos are available at the link on this website.

The 8 Washington Street luxury high rise condominium project is an embarrassment for San Francisco.

This project, at the center of our waterfront, would be a gated community for the super-rich, the 1%ers.

IS THIS HOW WE WANT THE FRONT DOOR OF SAN FRANCISCO TO LOOK FOR THE NEXT 100 YEARS??

The ‘entitlements’ granted to Mr. Snellgrove for this 8 Washington luxury high rise condominium project by City Hall are troubling.  These include the ‘spot zoning’ height increase, the nearly 400 space parking garage, and the Public Trust ‘land swap’.

Enough is enough.

We will not let the politicians and the developers take away our waterfront for their own benefit, with no concern for the people of San Francisco.

We need your help now.

Please send this video on to your family and friends.  We know that every San Francisco voter who sees this video will vote NO on Proposition B and NO on Proposition C.
