FOGG Open Letter – April 11, 2014

Summer Kids Camps 2014 – Scholarship Program Donations – Update #2

FOGG wants to give a warm and sincere thank you to all who have already made a donation this year.

With your continuing financial support, FOGG is now in our fourth year helping kids from low income housing attend the Bay Club at the Gateway’s Summer Kids Camps Program.  The weekly Program runs from early June to Labor Day.  Thanks again for all you have done!

The tax return filing deadline is upon us.  Those who have donated this year have already been able to take a tax deduction on your donation to the Summer Kids Camps Scholarship Program.

There is still time to make a tax deductible donation for this tax year!

We are going to need more help from our friends and supporters to allow us to send a good number of kids to this summer’s Kids Camps.

FOGG is working with a number of community organizations representing low income housing, who are excited about the possibly that some of their kids will enjoy a real fun summer experience.  However, unless we can raise the necessary funds, many will be left out.

Donations may be made online at his website.  Click on the ‘Donate to 2014 Kids Summer Camp’ yellow button on the right side of the website.

You may also mail your donations to Friends of Golden Gateway, P. O. Box 2294, San Francisco, CA, 94126.   Please make checks payable to PDF/FOGG and write “Scholarship Fund” on the memo line.

We ask that those who haven’t as yet made a contribution to FOGG’s Kids Camps Scholarship Program, to do so now.   For every two $500 Scholarships FOGG can provide, the Club will provide another.  It is a win/win opportunity.  The kids win, and you win.

Let’s continue building the momentum and have a great Kids Camp 2014!
