The 47th Committee meeting was held on Tuesday, April 24, 2007.
Hello FOGG Supporters,
It has been almost four years since FOGG began its effort to save the Golden Gateway Tennis & Swim Club from being demolished and turned in condominiums. We have been successful so far, but the fight continues.
During the past four years, we have seen our list of supporters grow from a handful of concerned people to over 1,300.
We thought we should reacquaint everyone with our story, some history, and where we go from here. As always, we welcome your comments.
The 46th Committee meeting was held on Tuesday, February 20, 2007.

This year will be a special year. We expect that our efforts to secure permanent legislation to preseve open recreational space in San Francisco and save the GGTSC from development will be fullfiled.
We thank our supporters who, during the past four years, have given countless hours of time and many thousands of dollars to help us achieve our mission.
Friends of Golden Gateway wishes everyone a very Happy Holiday Season and a healthy New Year. FOGG has again, with the help of our friends, succeeded in keeping our open recreational space free from the encroachment of proposed development.
Hello FOGG supporters!
Some really good news from City Hall today.
The Open Recreational Space Resolution (File #061493 – Interim Zoning Requiring Conditional Use Authorization for Change in Reduction of 15,000 square feet or more of Recreational Space) has been adopted by the Board of Supervisors.
The vote was unanimous, 11-0.
This is a very positive step in our mission to preserve the GGTSC and its open recreational space.
We thank everyone who put the in time and effort to get this resolution adopted, especially our friends at Save our San Francisco Tennis Club (SoSFTC).
