City Hall Hearing – 8 Washington Project

The Board of Supervisors Government Audit & Oversight (GAO) Committee will meet on Thursday, May 9, 1013.  The meeting begins at 10:00am and is in Committee meeting Room 263.

Agenda Item 3 is “8 Washington Proposed Project Potential Impact on Nearby Assets.”

This issue has to do with the potential impacts that the 8 Washington project if approved would have on the North Force Main and other improvements that are presently being installed by Public Utilities.

The 8 Washington project as proposed could cause irreparable damage with a major earthquake and/or high rising bay waters to the City’s water and sewage systems in the northwest corner of the City.

FOGG looks forward to a good turnout of our supporters.

The May 9th GAO Agenda can be seen at this link.  Agenda
